  3. Ciao to everybody! I haven't seen a post for this race , please redirect me if I'm wrong.. It would be a pleasure for us is someone could coma for this happening... Vespa and scooter together on the same track, only 5 vespa team and 18 scooter.... (sure we can change these numbers if necessary ). Right now as far as I know there are 3 vespa team ready..... For us is the first experience , so I really don't know what we have to expect from this race. The technical rules are the same we had in the champoionship, but all together (vespa) . Not possible to change the case of engine, not possible to change the tank toghether with the sit durng driver change, 1 hour max for each driver, minimum 2 max 4 drivers, bax cc 235 for px and lambretta, 150 for small frame I know 1 of you is probably coming here the rules.. http://www.stage6cup.it/endurance ( sorry it's in italian) gassss ciao see you within two weeks mauro

    Hallo guys! I've been without writing for a loooong time, and for a longer time I aven't been there for racing..... Unfortunately our championship is even too much for me, so I really couldn't race with you! But maybe the next year It 'll be possible to be there for a race...and a nice weekend I hope you 'll enjoy this last movie in Viterbo, for the qualification in the race , unfortunately is not the race becouse the cam was not working ciaooo mauro
  6. ciaooo, happy to hear you!! if I came to esc maybe I'll came with a large frame. here we race together( small and bigframe) and the last year it was really hard to fight with Crimaz and Hilton with smallframe 150 so at the end of the championship I was only 3rd with too many risks for my right side . maybe this year I'll race here too with the px, but now I want to try this bomb, becouse , believe me , it is! My cylinder is a prototype, in the sense that is a pre series, done in few pieces and manually adjusted and finished in order to have it ready for the beginning of the championship, so it's not exactly as the good one. What I know is that the outcome for the water wil be in a different position because the one I have doesnot finin et3 frames. Yesterday we had the firs final cylinder (not me of course) so I guess that in the next days you will see a dedicated post on et3.it, from Negres I guess. What I can say is that there are two basic version on the base of M1L 125 (b(with booster) and 150 (without booster) (87,51,60). The head is different an do the allowed squish (lower) . The "normal" (M1A)versions fits on the original case, as M1L , rhe R version is with baseplate (maybe I'm wrong for this) . The M1A I have works and behaves like M1x , in the sense that is veeeery linear and almost flat in power for a very good and long range. I can not say if this will be the standard for this cylinder but I guess so. Is amazing how much power you have also at low RPM. The exaust is dedicated. I can not say more now becouse I still have to test it. This we I'll try on the track. ciao mauro

  9. Dear all, happy new year! As some of you already knows this year we had an italian championship, with some ESC partecipants that come to visit us Stoffi s'team and marco buttner. Now we have a box with 6 DVD ready for everybody. The DVDs includes 6 races, interviews and other nice stuffs. If someone is interested in is possible to request a copy to Andrea at info@aessecom.com . The dvd are really well don with onboard and few cameras on the track, good sound! Enjoy it ciao mauro
  10. My best wishes for stoffi's, I hope you will run with us very soon. Than ...what helse can I add to the italians performances ??? really a pity for me that I really couldn't be there with you. This year in italy , in our championship (VPI) I have to run (and fight) directly with them......that's why it would have been fantastic for me to be there with you and run with some PX See you soon an congratulation for your race, becouse for me it was a nice track! ciao mauro

Unfortunately this year I have no time to come in germany to the ESC with my M1x becouse of the VPI in italy. i'm very happy to see that ou are doing a lot of job wit this cylinder, wery powerful and reliable, according to my experience. This year I'm using a M1xL with dedicated exhaust, wespatronik (1 kg), phbh 30, piaggio rod 105 , 57mm stroke. on this track the gear is 21/68. I did this movie the last we in Latina. The two smallframe you see are Quattrini M1L 150 cc (grey one Crimaz) and Falk 150 cc (white one Ironmike). unfortunately I had a crash... ciao Mauro

During the second race I had a problem with the carburator so I had to slow down my race. They are too fast for a PX even when it's ok second place it the end of the day is ok Thanks to stoffi's to enjoy our races..... hope to visi you for some ESC race ciao Mauro ESC 121
  14. Dear All, it really would have been a pleasure for me to be there with you running and racing, as we dit the last year. Unfortunately it was really impossible for me, also because this date is very close to the VPI competition in Castelletto di branduzzo that will be held the next week , But I'm really very sad for that.   15. saturday is a normal training day . You need helmet, gloves..... nothing special, no licence, no particular things for driving. We pay and we share the track with the scooter. May be in the early morning all together then 15 minutes each 45 more or less ciao mauro
  16. Why don'you came in iesolo on saturday? Saturday is a "normal" day, and we can try all the day without any licence. Only sunday is "race" day ciao
  17. n italy it doesn'exist something valid if not what we do(idoneità agonistica) with 2 different visit in official offices.   18. Ciao, Dear KTY , I agree with you that is a bit too much to partecipate to 1 race!! This year it toolk a big effort also for us to organize things in order to fulfill the UISP rules. So what you say is correct. One specification: In the health certificate must be specified that you are able and in good conditions for scooter (or motorbike) speed races . The licence last 1 year and is valid allover europe, gives you an ensurance and bla bla bla. Neck protection: Yes is the one used in motocross. Better if you have the version that goes also on shoulders,but not mandatory You need also a switch off plug tied to your arm that must stop the engine if you fall if you have a tube between sit and handlebar the room under the tube must be closed with a wall so that the feet can't go in .....hope to see you ciao mauro

  21. Sorry but my google translator is awful, so may be I bad understand the point . I think you are speaking about squish. DON't squeeze it too much because beyond 1.3 with M1X you melt the piston. For racing only you can push up to 1.4, for day by day use stay 1.5 or , better , 1.6. It's true, decreasing 0.1 or 0.2 the performances increases exponentially, but if you need it find another way to do it . ciao Mauro

  23. Dear All, Unfortunately for me this Year I'LL partecipate only to few races in the ESC because finally we suceeded in organizing a championship in ITALY. The whole championship is 7 races but among them only the best 5 gives a score . Rules (in italian only ) http://www.et3.it/Regolamento_VPI_2009.pdf official site http://www.stage6cup.it/iscrizione_09_vespa.php Flyer http://lnx.et3.it/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=30816 In this championship there is a real sponsor (!) and there are several gift in each race(carburators, keys, tires,etc) plus a grant for the championship (1500 /1000/500 € for each class) Unfortunately we have only two categories, divided by level of tuning only. Unfortunately (for me) PX and smallframe together. Vespa must be vespa. Gear at the handle bar, minimum large of the chassis is 35 cm, mo motorcycle setting ( tank must be in its original place), and engine also, max tires dimentions 3-50 -10, original lenght mus be respected. More or less the real difference between the two classes is the fact that in V1 is not allowed welding, only 135cc for small, 177 for px. . Crankshaft original and the rest is free: exhaust, cylinder, flyweel and so on BUT ....19/19 for small and 20/20 for PX. Not allowed extra expert pilot in this class (the organizer will decide how expert you are after a first test) Rules will be really tight and observed so it will be really impossible to run in V1 with a hidden jolly. The same in V2 also if here is not so difficult to stay in the rules The first meeting is in 40 days ...... It will be only a meeting, just to see and know each other, take the official pictures and so on, but the track will be available all the day. You can partecipate also to few races only. Ask for further information and try to partecipate!!! ciao Mauro
  24. Dear Thanks a lot for this nice ESC experience. The Speed arena track from my point of view was the best i EVER tried. enough difficult for us with big frame vespa, but with a fantastic grip!! I think that for this year is enough . I had the opportunity to race with you all, and it was fantastic. I've been lucky and I won all the races . The game is over now but is not a good reason to skip one race , (also in rechnitz was the same, but it was not too far ) The next race is really too far, so I think I'll skip it , even if I know that I'll loose an exciting experience. It would be nice to access ALL the photos done from professional guys that have been done during these races (Also in rechnitz since friday I could see people taking pictures with cameras with 40 cm long zoom).   25. sorry but I can' help you with the 60 stroke bekause I did'n test it. I guess it' enough to lift the barrel but as Far as I know the DRT 59 has different intakes with respect to the 57 mauro
