  1. Every exhaust is hand made,Marco probably had his mind somewhere else when he was building mine... Mine had minimal clearance,in general it was very bad made,I won't shop again from Pipe Design.
  2. It fits easily now, on the main bracket I use 2 M8 bolts instead of studs and nuts,I also use a M6 bolt on the tailpipe. Allen studs with nuts might be a future option, at the present,I have perfect threads on the cranckcase. I fit the exhaust in the following order, first I tighten the stub nuts having a copper gasket fitted between the stub and the cylinder, then I mate the main exhaust body on the stub joint, the exhaust 'u-bend' was hitting/fouling on the cowling (I use a 1mm head gasket but the clearance was a joke) I had to bend the front of the cowling a lot,I don't know if it can be seen from this photo. After doing this, I managed to slide it on the joint a little,BUT it started fouling on the other side, the only way to make it fit and slide it all the way in,was to make this cut. This is how it looks from underneath My advice to you,in order to avoid future drama,is to check the clearance with the cowl fitted,.
  3. Well done , clever engineering. I'll use the S-Box in a 60s looking replica,so I wanted to have the fixed exhaust bracket. I also had to modify the head cowl.
  4. Sorry guys, last post from me, I easily go offtopic,if I get challenged
  5. Greece that's me
  6. I don't have a welding machine, I carried on my hands the crankcase with the cylinder, head and the exhaust fitted, to a friend few blocks away from my place. Yes the floor is my trademark The majority of the pics that I post show the terrazzo, like this one that I'm working on lately. Sometimes pictures are taken outside, this one is the engine that I test on post 29 http://www.germanscooterforum.de/topic/309310-pipe-design-s-box/page-2#entry1068122684 BGM RT 195,BGM 60/110mm,BGM Clubman,BGM DC stator with BGM flywheel,PHBH30mm.
  7. My story ends here, I cut and welded the exhaust. Marco hasn't replied to me yet,I don't care now.
  8. Hi Guys, I don't want to bore you with Marco etc, and the fact that he hasn't replied to me YET,sorry about this, few days ago I fitted a Gori 50mm to a new build,it fits like a dream, I'm going to sell the S-Box,if anyone is interested let me know, send me a PM, you have seen the problem, you know what it needs to be done, if you can fix it, good for you, I don't have a welding machine,I'm not going to pay extra money for this. Thanks GORI
  9. Thanks.
  10. Thanks guys. Arthur is the PD silent box,the S-Box? If yes, do you have any pics? Where did they cut and weld?
  11. If you wanna listen music,go find a jukebox.
  12. Another useful post, if you cannot contribute,at least don't post anything, I don't care how easily you get bored, this is a topic for a non fitting exhaust and a dealer who doesn't care about his products.
  13. Arthur, my problem is that Marco, someone who I discovered in this forum via the exhaust dyno thread, has been paid 320 euros by me,for an exhaust that doesn't fit few months ago, if you don't have the same problem, don't post at this topic, I want to find out who else has this problem and if we can solve it, there so many other topics post there if you don't care about this.
  14. Sorry guys,I haven't introduced myself, I'm Dimitrios from Greece.
  15. Few years ago,an English artist had sung, 'what difference does it make?' He is not replying.
