  1. Sorry,I don't understand if this is humor or not, why should I lay back and be patient? It's not the first,second,third,fourth.fifth...(you get the idea) week that I'm waiting, I should had fitted the exhaust by now. When I build engines I start from the exhaust, I'm going to port at 178 degrees ex timing,I have bought a gearbox and carb to suit the exhaust characteristics, I cannot go to high revving exhaust now, I bought the S-Box because of the impressive low to mid torque figures. I'm still waiting when Marco will feel better to reply, I won't do anything before I hear from him.
  2. I don't know how good is the quality of your English, Marco is not replying to my messages. I'm trying the last months to contact him,out of sudden,the first week of May I got an automatic generated email reply, that they are closed from 2nd to 19th (17 days), I had to wait 17 days while he knew about the problem but he didn't take any action, today is 22nd and he has still not replied , one forum member earlier said that he'll have one more week vacations, should I have to wait him? I have this problem with his exhaust and I'm just waiting,320 euros for a clubman that can't even fit. Before I pay him,he was replying to my messages the same day, things changed.

OOOoops,I thought that you also had the same experience, the other topic was general about various exhausts performance comparison, the S-Box was one of them,the fitting problem was mentioned but it wasn't proper to start talking about it there, this topic is specific about the S-Box fitting,there is a big problem in the design of the exhaust, the designer is missing,the topic is to talk about solutions, it would be perfect if the designer could tell me and many others what we should do with his exhaust.
  6. You are probably in the same shoes like me , what has Marco done about this,what was his response? Did you get any refund? Did he fix the problem? I'm waiting a long time,for a response from Mr Rentzman, I bought the exhaust because I need to use it,I didn't bought it to post on forums how bad it is, all this time I can't work with the engine, If I get another exhaust I'll need to modify the exhaust timing,Marco had told me that the tuning length of the S-Box was for 178 ex degrees.
  7. Thanks,how did you reach him? this a video showing the bad fitment,it is bolted as it should be,the exhaust stub is way out of the exhaust port,the studs don't line up with the stub, there is nothing that I can do, it needs cut and welding from a specialist.
  8. What is the story with them? http://www.pipedesign.de/home.html Are they still in business, have they closed? I'm trying to contact Marco Rentzman for ages,he doesn't reply,is he alive? I'm not a facebook friend of him,I don't use facebook,I have sent him some messages,he never replied. What type of attitude is this? Is he only interested to take the money? Does he care about after-sales service? He sold me a problematic Lambretta S-Box exhaust long time ago,the exhaust needs cut and welding,it doesn't fit, it wasn't cheap it costed me 320 euros, I asked him three questions: 1)Can I return it to you and get full refund? 2)Can I send it back to you to fix it? 3)Can you pay all the extra cost if I give it to someone else to fix it? Guess what, I never got any reply. Is he posting here? Can anyone who knows him, inform him about this situation and tell him that this kind of behavior gives bad reputation to his business (if he cares). I know many other people have similar problems with this exhaust,what have you done? Is this a lost 320 euros case for me? Thanks.
  9. Thank you, when I first got it,I couldn't even fit the main box,I had to elongate the two bracket holes for the M8 studs,plus the M6 tailpipe bracket. This meant that the exhaust was never tested for fitment. With the two M8 nuts tightened on the main bracket,the tailpipe was more than half cm out OK,I've fitted many Lambretta exhausts,this wasn't really a problem,anyone who rides Lambretta knows how to use a dremel. The real problem comes when the main box is tightened,the stub is way out of the cylinder exhaust port, the main box is static,this means there is nothing that can be done to fix it, it needs cut and welding,I'm no expert I cannot do it. I asked Marco about this long time ago,he had no explanation,he got surprised,I asked him again what we could do about this,I never got any reply, I'm waiting for a reply a long time now, I don't have an exhaust to fit and this one wasn't cheap,I can't afford to buy a new one so i'm waiting for Marco's responce. The exhaust port doesn't line up with the stub. Italian 200cc crankcase with cast iron Spanish cylinder Same crankcase,with Italian 200c cast iron cylinder I even tried it on an Italian crankcase with a Casa 185 kit,nothing,NO WAY,it is IMPOSSIBLE to fit it. I tried it on another 200cc Italian crankcase with another cylinder,with 175cc crankcase nothing again,the S-BOX DOESN'T FIT, I don't know what Marco thinks but i have a big problem and he is not helping at all. What should I do? Some of the tested crankcases (I also have videos showing how bad it is)
  10. Hi,first post here, sorry don't speak German, I was following this brilliant topic and decided to buy a S-Box for my Lambretta. It has by far the worst lambretta exhaust fitting,there is no way to fit it I tried to contact Marco for a long time but he is not replying, what have you done for this problem,have you contacted him? Did he solve the bad fitment problem?
