Yes, I'm running that 300 carb float valve too. What is the jetting you are running on the PHBH? I've only finished building on the weekend so still getting jetting organised

It is a fairly simple 244 build, nothing exotic... VR1 cases, Q 60mm crank with vespower igniton and extra weights, 30mm PHBH and box pipe, currently sip 3.0 but will be replaced with polini soon. normally street riding and hwy each day at 100 - 105kmh so not super fast, i think no pump is okay though? I normally have fuel pump on the kangaroos that we ride to work but they have vforce and expansion pipe

How many of you run pump? I see some don't and some do...

what is your carb jetting with the TMX 30mm? are you running a fuel pump too?

I should have the viper box by the end of the week for me to try on my 260.. and also just got the megadella XL compact 8 cone to try too.

just finished building a new performance engine and have got oil leaking out of the clutch cover breather. it's not just a little, it's enough to trickle down and hit the brake backing plate within minutes. so it's an S&S cover that's been milled out and an MMW basket, nothing unusual. gearbox oil level is also correct. anyone else had to deal with this issue?

Anyone have cylinder temp readings on their M232? I am running one one my PX with 24/24SI and SIP performance pipe...I'd like to get an idea of what CHT you guys are getting?

Yes Nick. Standard air filter and air bellows. I have tried the polini venturi and pinasco carb box lid but I think I need to get it all running smoothly first before I delve into more performance bits!

I understand. They are a helpful tool for setting up a motor and also I find them a good tool for highway riding as to keep a check on the motor, especially in Australia where summer can be quite hot.

Thanks for the reply Truls221. I'm running a SIP XL. The jetting is good...I've just been on a 300km/h trip last weekend and it performed well except for that little stutter at light throttle. Looking back on the weekend, it does just keep up with well tuned Malossi 210s but going up long hills, it'll leave them for dead. I will look into doing the rotary pad. Is there anyone on GSF who is running a similar setup that would share their specs?
