  1. Ok thanks ! Just for clarification, the "crankshaft-konus" is also exactly 5:1, right ?
  2. Oi, I was not lucky last time: http://www.germanscooterforum.de/findpost_t186790_p1066428775.html&hl=crankshaft&fromsearch=1 So I am only asking you if you know the exact angle of the 20mm and 19mm smallframe crankshaft konus... ? Bonus would be the dimensions of these 2 different konus... Danke
  3. Hi, Does anyone have the different dimension of a PK 20mm smallframe crankshaft ? I don't care about the con-rod, I am more interested in the different axes diameters and overall length... Thanks,
  4. Some pictures from CS Ried 2010 scooter season begins finally ! http://picasaweb.google.com/ktylife/20100227CustomShowRied?authkey=Gv1sRgCOjk56OfpYOlbQ#

  7. Hi Guys, I am looking for some good "setting" tips ! I have one of these chinese TIG/WIG that does a lot of things (SUPER200P: Arc/MMA, TIG/WIG and Plasma Cutter), but I have trouble using it in TIG mode... Simply because I do not know ! It features max 200A, AC/DC, Pulse and other nice features (HF start, 2T/4T, pedal control, etc). I am using Argon. I can adjust, * Preflow time * Peak Current * Basic Current * Down Slope * (Arc Force) * Pulse Frequency * Pulse Duty Cycle * Clean Area Width * Gaz after flow Does anyone would have some basic settings for thin steel (1.2mm or so) and alu for example ? I know that's a full-time job, but one can learn.... I guess :D
  8. As for all of you, this was really a choc when I was told the sad news yesterday. I knew Chris enough to know he was a very nice guy, always willing to help, always happy. I met him quite a few times on race tracks in France, Italy, Austria and Germany and always enjoyed his company. We were also regularly chatting over MSN, he was sincere, available and very knowledgeable. In these difficult times, my condolences go to his family, relatives and to all his friends, especially the one I know from the Scooter Scene, take care guys. We will miss him.
  9. When I order new parts I mixed them up with the one I already have, that's why tracking is impossible. However, probability are really low that it happens to you too, not the complete lot is defective...
  10. Hi Sebastian, Well now it looks like I received a defective lot of capacitors ; you're indeed the second one to have this issue (over 100+ sold). Please send it back to me, I'll ship a new one to you in the mean time. I PM you my address. Sorry for that...
  11. If the "Agusto" system uses the same CDI box (Ducati-like), then the SparkMagnifier is compatible with it. Same for the AddonV, the SM is compatible with it. I still have some stock, please order soon if interested... Cheers,
  12. What is this system ? On which machine ?
  13. Quick update; On my side, it looks fine, I am sending (finally) this week prototypes to friends for testing. The user interface would need some final tweaking, the hardware seems to be stable, that's what matters... I made a new version of the board which is smaller and better... Even though I managed to do 2 small mistakes http://ktylife.free.fr/vespa/AvanceVariabl...I_in_action.avi (you need latest video codecs, like K-Lite) No I am NOT selling (yet)... Be patient and keep fingers crossed

  15. Finally there ! Top pictures from Michel Lemarié: http://www.michel-lemarie.fr/galeriereportage.html
  16. Schön Jan As Jan has one of those, here is a small picture update of SM v1.2; I am indeed shipping them since a couple weeks now; capacitors are less prone to vibration, track isolation is also improved and finally there is a varnish protective layer. It was being tested since ~July.
  17. All videos ! http://scootentole.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php...&highlight= You don't have to be registered to see them
  18. Smallframe battle Flying PX :-D
  19. Yes, lots of pictures :) http://www.scootentole.org/phpbb/viewtopic...asc&start=0 Like.... I could not make it there, but according to what I heard, it was a great WE, with a very nice track, good weather and, as usual, superb organization
  20. Hi Don, I am not sure I have understood everything, but here are a couple of info; * From the HV coil (green wire), you get about 80V AC when you kick and a maximum of ~160VAC at ~5000rpm, then the higher the rpm, the lower the voltage get. * If your HV coil dies in the middle of nowhere, you can use the 12V WITHOUT REGULATOR out of your stator (blue wire on newer PX) to feed the CDI (in place of the green wire). It will have some difficulty to start, you have to push, but it will work ! I know that it works for sure because this is how we helped (over internet) a guy doing a crazy roadtrip in the far East: http://www.audeladufarghestan.fr/ !! If on top of it you have a SparkMagnifier, then your engine would work "almost" like normal No light, but at least you can drive !! Try it one day if you're bored :) For those who ordered, please be patient, shipping soon...
  21. Hi Jan, Not really ! As already mentioned, in theory bigger gap can only be better, so you'll have to experiment and share with us Btw, I will ship in about a weeka...
  22. I have corrected, sorry John
  23. Yes... Still running with it, implemented recently a button to change curves and an LED (curve number, quick shift) that can be mounted on the handlebar. I am basically curently checking if this long wire creates problems (engine environment is a pain in the arse !) and if it is safe to allow on the fly curve selection. I will also send one to a friend for testing on a dyno and general "beta-test". Getting closer to something finished, but as always, I have very limited time... :-D
  24. Not officially We will get back to you with the final answer
