I've just put a deposit down on a Vespa PX125 and now have two weeks to sort out security before it arrives. Basically, I've got two problems: how to store it at home, and how to lock it when out and about.
At home we have an underground car park which is reasonably safe, but there are no ground anchors. There are window bars that I can lock to, but they're off the ground. So I'm thinking of getting a big chain locked to those, to which I can lock another chain on the Vespa. That smaller chain can also be taken out when riding.
Does that make sense? If so, what would you recommend I buy? If not, what are the better options?
Should I also be looking at disk locks or grip locks? It's a 2001 so has the disk brake on the front.
