Note: To mount the PK front shock I enlarged only the upper hole of the caliper holder.

Question 1:

How is that that it is not aligned ?? I can force so that it fits, but I can tell there is nsomething wrong...

Question 2:

Is it okay to mount the "banjo" of the Hydraulic cable this way ? (Normally this part is normally plugged into the master-cylinder, not the caliper )

I have no idea about Your second problem, but I think Your first one can be mostly solved by reading this topic

If You have trouble understanding - just ask. :-D

Q1: just force it a bit, it will remain in that position then, won't it? then it's ok.

Q2: I think you can do it this way also, BUT you really have to put one of those washers for hydraulic braking tubing in between.

Ad 2: from my experience with this type of pipe connection some thread of the union ought to remain visible. I doubt a seal ring solves the problem. Does the pipe have a conical flange which is then pressed into the conical seat in the calliper by means of the union? That would mean you cannot be sure it is tight if the union sits flat like in your case.

Q1: Thanks to this picture, Is it correct to understand that I should drill a new hole ? Because it really feels anti-mechanic to force....

Q2: I already tried with a washers for hydraulic braking tubing, and the result is that there is a little "play", the braking tube can even turn. I asked a friend, and he told me that on a normal PX there is no washer for this on the master-cylinder side... any other experience ?

Shall i write Kaerntnerisch or English?

Muasst eh lei a läängeres Schreifalan, mid an laengaanen Gewindaalaan, einimoochn!

You probably have to cut off the flange of the pipe, get yourself a longer union (with longer thread section) and redo the flange. These flange flaring tools are in-expensive or ask you local car garage to have it done!

Cheers

I do not speak Kaerntnerisch neither really German... :-D

Why do you think I should cut the pipe ?? It is  ?

Another question:

I have received this RMS "Sport" PK shock.... What should I do whith these.... :-D :-D

Cut ? Drill ?

what about leaving them where they are? saves you a spanner when doing up the bolts.

*Raeusper* das Bohrbild am PK-Daempfer ist ein anderes als das an der PX-Grimeca-Ankerplatte.

@Kty: your Q refers to the different distance of the holes, comparing the PK-damper to the PX bracket where it shall be fixed to, right?

Why not enlarge the holes in the bracket (~1mm either side) and leave the welded nuts where they are.

Concerning brake pipe: If you look at the picture you notice that, if the hexagonal part of the union sits flush on the calliper, it would not push the flange of the pipe against its counterpart in the calliper. did you get me?

To change the union you have to cut the pipe flange to be able to swap the union for one with a longer thread.

Please also check this brake pipe and flange info (and pics).
