Hi all new to forum, being viewing for a while top forum. Question is enyone using sip hydraulic clutch kit for smallframe? I've had one on order from sip for over three months as they are on back order & now they tell mi they are thinking of dicontinuing it, if so does enyone else do this set up, if not has enyone eny pic's so I could make my own. Scoot is at paint shop & have extensively modified head set for this set up, ps will be running hyper clutch in pollini ally basket.

Would be greatfull for any info Thax Martin

Etwa: >>Martin sucht nach einem Alternativanbieter fuer die hydr. Smallframekupplung die bei SIP scheinbar nicht mehr weiter vertrieben wird. Falls es die nimmer gibt - wer hat ERfahrung bzw. Bilder davon. << der Einfachheit halber..

why does he want to hydraulic clutch in the first place? is it just a question of looks, or does he consider it a technical necessity? if the latter it may be a good idea to tell him that there isn't much reason to use a hydraulic clutch after all. a pk xl II type clutch cover works great even with the heavy springs required for high horsepower/torque engines.

The reason he want's a hydralic clutch is because he's intending to run the Sergioni hyper clutch and has already modified his bars to accept the master cylinder.I assume it's more for the look than anything as it's a custom scooter he's building.

Thanks for the suggestion to check Worb5,it never crossed my mind.Unfortunately they're out of stock as the part comes from SIP who are thinking of discontinuing it from their product line.

Thanks again for your time.

You could use a system like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HYDRAULIC-C...emZ180195900016

Not really the same technique but it should still do the job.

an die dinger hab ich auch schonmal gedacht...hat des schonmal jemand verbaut? ich mein sollte ja doch machbar sein, bin nur selbst net sooo scharf auf ne hydraulische kupplung dass es mir wert wäre son teil zu kaufen.

It's an uprated version of the super clutch from the same stable as the M1 barrels.I can't tell you more than that as I simply don't know anymore.

You could ask M1Mental (Terry Ward) over on the forum as he imports the range into the UK from Italy.

And thanks Marcus,I see you have linked over there anyway.

ok, i see. i think i know the thing. i'm not sure whether i consider the center-spring solution state of the art or not though.

As Marcus pointed out it is SeiGiorni and not as I had stated.I can only place the blame at the door of a refreshing beverage from Bremen for this. :-D

I did try to post an image but could not seem to manage for some reason although that isn't important as you seem to know the working of the product anyway.I'd agree that singular springs are hardly ideal and I'd be more inclined to use a XL2 unit either standard or modified to Zadra spec. but it's not my engine and he's already spent alot of money on the clutch.

My thoughts are the clutch will be a pig and will probably need hydralic operation for anything other than sprinting as the spring rate must be huge to handle the figures that are being reported by the Italians etc for their 150m machines.Whether it is suitable for road use at all is anyone's guess.
