Here we have a little J range with an easy to operate twist and go 50cc engine. It would make a great first classic scooter, or one for the misses, to have fun at rallies...as a custom bike project..I am sure you will find a good use for it.

the bike is in london and you are welcome to have a look. Cash on collection only. If you live far away and cannot pick it up it is your duty to organise a courrier. I will only let the bike go if you make sure that i get my money before the courrier picks it up. please ask all questions beforehand. I will describe the bike as good as i can.

Lambretta J125 first series with the big legshilds

The bike is running and everything is in working order.

The engine is of a honda melody and was done in a way that the original engine could be reinstalled.

It is very low in fuel consumption and rather quiet.

The brakes work well and are just like on a normal Lambretta, just the gear change is missing (can alo be put back)

The bike would benefit from a shorter rear damper since the honda one is a little longer. There is no welding involved just find the right damper.

Furthermore the bike would benefit form some front dampers. J's never had those but you can use Lui or vega parts for the bottom and weld on brackets on the forks. If you want i have a spare set of dampers u can have...

It is reasonably fast and goes up to 45-50 Miles on the speedo. You could also install a bigger honda engine or kit the 50cc one thats in there but then i would recomend upgrading the brakes.

The 50cc honda engine is standard.

The bodywork is not cut in any place. There is no rust. The sidepanels have a few little dents.

The paint is old and in no good condition. The pictures are taken when the bike was not cleaned for ages.

the front tire is a good michelin s1, the rear is some old thing with good thread but as i said it is old.

It is on elektronic ignition and 12 volt.

The bike comes up as registered with the DVLA but I lost the documents.

Hach, das wär' was für die Frau. Wie das so mit Papieren in D als Fuffi ist? Wäre 'ne feine Alternative für meine Missus, und weg mit der Rundlich V50 :-D
