Ciao Tekko,

the Cosa aluminium cilinder fits on a PX 200 engine. I would prefer is to the original cylinder because of the material and the better rings. There should not be a performance increase, but its a good basis for tuning. First I would match the piston windows to the windows in the cylinder.

With further tuning it should be equal to a 213 Pinasco.

Greetings

Hannes

thanks

have you mounted it on px200?

do you make the modification to the exhaust port flange?

got images?

thanks

Ciao,

I will mount it and weld the exhaust flange of the cosa exhaust to the PX exhaust. If you use the Cosa head please note that the spark position is different to the PX head. I'll use a Rally 200 head (higher compression).

hi

il'' use a mormal px200 USA head.lower compression than rally head, but i think higher than cosa2 200 central sparkhead (troncoconical desing chamber)

i have used in the past the cosa2 central spark head, but i dont like that

i'll use a normal px200 exhaust, so ill make a flange to be screwed on the cilinder.

do you use a normal px200 air filter?wich jet configuration carb? 24/24E?

thanks

the same like a normal Cyl. for a PE 200.

you say that alu cylinder has same configuration (160-BE3-118 55/160) of px200 cylinder?

but here i see tha cosa 12PS cylinder has 160-???-96 48/160 ; and it seemsme that 96 main jet on 200cc engine is crazy...what can you say me about that?

Search in Ebay for an exhaust for the aluminium cilinder.

how can i search it on ebay.de?

the exhaust, exept the cylinder flange, is the same of px 200 or not?

thanks a lot!!

hi

i think you mean this exhaust "mit flansch"

link

but exhaust for alu cylinder, mit Flansch, can be mounted without modification to the px200 engine case, or not?

sorry for toooooooooooooooooooooooo questions!! :-D:-D

bye

the cosa has a double airfiltration system that restricts the airflow somewhat , hence the smaller jets....

with the normal airfiltration or even better a improved system the jetsizes should be adapted to the increased airflow to prevent leanburning.
