Ich fand es Anfang des Jahres schon wahnsinnig gut und sehr ordenlich Organisiert von den beiden. Würde mich über einen Teil 2 zum Ende des Jahres freuen...

So, there will indeed a 2nd part of the Challenge Scootentole for 2008 !!

This will be held the 10th, 11th and 12th of October in Joigny (click mish !), about 150km at the South of Paris !

Track looks really great !

1050x7m , faster than Mirecourt !

Categories will be probably similar to the one used in Mirecourt (see below for link).

Program is yet to be announced, but target price will be 42? for drivers, including camping and breakfast. There will be also possible to drive on Friday.

Last racing event of the season in France ! Ocotober 2008 in Joigny; for the asphalt-lovers and the hard-core racers

As in Mirecourt, we will make our best to maximize track-time for everybody ! We will also most likely use transponders !

We will have 4 categories, slightly different that the ESC ones.

C1: Tourist riding (track discovery)

C2 : Any scooter with stock cylinder and tuned smallframe < 120cc

C3 : Tuned Smallframe >120cc

C4 : Tuned Scooter >150cc

We will have at least two DJs to enjoy the two evening while drinking some beers !

Pre-Registration are 42€ per pilot and 5€ per Week-end-visitors; this includes access to the campsite facilities, small parties and breakfasts.

On Friday 10.10 is a 4h race at the Intermot (Köln). Marco and the Stonheads will be there. I will also be there. So there are not so much ESC-people from southwest, which can come.

Also Jungs wenn wir schon nicht hinkönnen sollten wenigstens ein paar ESC Fahrer vertreten sein.

Die Engländer die da hinkommen sind nicht irgendwelche Hansel sondern einige Top Leute.

Das ist eine einmalige Chance sich auf einem KartKurs gegen 35PS Fullframe Lambrettas zu messen.

Hi guys,

Too bad you couldn't make it !

We had 10 guys from the BSSO (60 overall), including there very top drivers ! Most of them were driving super-powerful Lambrettas, and Sticky (yes the one !) won the Smallframe class on an SS90... I finished 3rd behind him and John from Holland, so I was really happy :)

The sun was shining all WE long, this was really a great event, with a nice atmosphere, and great racing for drivers and spectators.

As we try our best, we had some nice gifts to give away down to the 10th place in each of the 4 categories; We hope to see you in Mirecourt by the end of May 2009 for the 3rd Challenge Scootentole and in Joigny, probably around October 2009 !

Schade, schade, da ich aus guter Quelle erfahren habe dass die 6-7 Top Leute aus der BSSO kommen.

Wäre schon mal gerne gegen diese auf einem Kartkurs gefahren, nachdem der Stoffi und der Pesi auf dem großen Kurs ja wohl ziemlich eingefahren sind.

no so schlecht dann auch wieder nicht, der Stoffi ist am 2. Tag immerhin 11. beste Rundenzeit gefahren, und war 2. schnellster Vespisti.

Allerdings haben Charlie und Steckerl eine wahrlich respektable Leistung in Frankreich gezeigt. Also die koennen nicht nur schnell "geradeaus" fahren.

Sorry mate; And Luccio finished 4th so he is a little bit disappointed

Anyway, 3rd or 4th, I really enjoyed myself, I feel more confident now and I am ready for the next ESC season, with the "warmup" of the 3rd Challenge Scootentole in Mirecourt , probably the WE of the 24th of May 2009 TO be confirmed...
