Tuned TS1 including manifold and head, no piston.

I will be as honest as I can. I have worked in a scootershop and have tuned a few engines in the past, so i know a bit about this stuff.TS1 barrel of unknown mileage. The Nicasil is however very good and indicates not much use. I have started to tune the barrel in the following way. The exhaut port is widened by about 1.5 mil and raised by ca. 1 mil. Furthermore the inlet port is opened at the bottom. the idea was to cut a third inlet into the casing to allow for a better filling. I have shown the barrel to some (in my opinion) really good tuners and all of them told me to stick it in like it is, so it should be good to go.

Nevertheless i would do the following:

I would smoothen the bottom as there is a smal mark where a ring might have caught. Furthermore i would open the third transfer more to actually make it work (i can provide a description of how i think this should be done). If you want to go for torque i would take 1.5mm of the bottom of the barrel so the port timings come down and use a 60 mil crank.

The inlet manifold is a standard AF one, which in my opinion works just fine. The head is a Taffspeed, which shows some marks from a seizure (was never run with this barrel) but should do.

Personally I would just stick in a 115/60 crank with a nice, light and cheap Wiseco piston (u can get them on ebay us for $80) but a 107/58 or 60 would do just fine.
