Once again Restless SC will arrange the Classic Scooter Run in Oslo, Norway.

We have now started to book bands. I think we will go for two bands Friday and two bands Saturday + dj's both days.

First band booked is The Launderettes, girls only garage rock band from Oslo. Their latest album out now on Little Stevens record label.

Letztes Jahr war der CSR in Kristiansand und es war genial, und ich habe die Befürchtung das in Oslo noch einiges meeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhhr geht.

By the way, here is some info that someone have asked for:

Sleeping facilities are mainly ment to be tents like in the good old scooter days.

But, there is also available indoor sleeping inside a house on the run site. Inside are two big rooms and you bring your own mattress and sleeping bag. Please do not book indoor sleeping if you are know to be snoring a lot at night....!

The field outside is quite large, so if someone wants to bring a camper etc, that is possible. But, of course we will laugh at you and charge you a lot of money extra, but thats life....

We are doing the final deals with the third band at the moment. If we get what we want, you can look forward to one of the longest living and best ever ska-bands of Norway!

So, look forward to 3 top notch bands, dj's, food and drinks 24h at reasonable prices, dyno, special gymkhana race etc etc.

We hope to see a lot of Germans in Oslo in June!!

Important info: Run is moved to a new location. 

 

Due to unforseen circumstances, we have to move the run to another location. and guess what, we believe this location is at least equaly good, if not even better !

 

Follow the signs in Oslo towards "Holmenkollen", the citys main ski jump arena. The run site is even further up right next to "Frognerseteren Restaurant". Any GPS will find that.

 

Looking forward to seeing all 11 prebooked Germans, and hope to see some Germans or even Austrians we don't know of too!

Nächstes Jahr veranstaltet der CSC (Classic Scooters Club) aus Bergen. Veranstaltungsort wird wohl Dagali bei Geilo, also im Herzen von Südnorwegen. Veranstaltunsgelände ist ein Sportflughafen, mit passendem Clubhaus, nur für uns... Prima grosses Gebirgshotel gleich nebenan, alternativ Camping auf dem Platz. Ist zwar leider ein Stück weg von Bergen, aber dafür für die Leute aus den anderen Städten (Trondheim, Stavanger, Oslo, Kristiansand, etc.) gut zu erreichen. Ausserdem gibt es für die "Südländer" sehr viele verschiedene An- und Abreiserouten. Landschaftlich sehr gediegen, aber ein extra Pulli ist sicherlich angebracht. Die Norweger haben es übrigens durchweg sehr positiv aufgenommen, dass von Jahr zu Jahr mehr Deutsche dabei sind...

Kristiansand und Oslo haben die Latte ja sehr hoch gelegt, Bergen nimmt die Herausforderung an...
