My goal is 25hp with expansion chamber and no reed intake. The mb rt 225 dyno i see is 22hp with JL3. I don´t know if superturer ou race will fit nice like in the TT3? The TT3 dyno 24hp with franspeed race The mugello don´t know Who has better chances to go for 25cv? Arthur Geschrieben 8. April 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 8. April 2014 (bearbeitet) Hi Eduardo, in Germany and maybe Austria most of the people are TS1 fansso they will give this advice recommendation most of the time, especially if your engine is a big one. So if you decide to choosea TS1, you should get a lot of help here about exhausts and all thethings around. The second choice could be MBGM RT, which isdeveloped in UK but produced and sold by a GermanCompany (SCK). Regards! Bearbeitet 8. Pferschy Geschrieben 9. April 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 9. April 2014 (bearbeitet) With the same timing, carb exhaust (head) you would not have great differencesbut every kit has some advantages and disadvantagesIf someone would ask me this is my opinion TT3 has long inlet timing, a very strong but heavy piston, i don’t know is if the exhaust gasket surface is in the right position (ground clearance), nobody knows if the boost port really work well. that can also cause problems if change to reed valve with a real boost port Mugello looks fine but has too short transfer timing that’s why it is better fit a 60mm crank. The exhaust gasket has moved a few more mm to the ground that there are longer threads in the barrel. That‘s not so fine for ground clearence with the exhaust. The head look’s fine but you will find diagrams in here with a reworked head, which brings better performance. The piston is light an it's possible to get it for long con rod The RT looks fine, the exhaust gasket surface has 4 threads because of the short threads The rapido is cheap, the steel is soft. The piston to bore clearnce should be checked. Don’t use a Asso or Escort Piston With a piston portet engine with long timings (that's what you need for your mission) the consumption would be heavy thats why many guy’s in Germany and Austria (and also becouse of the road capability) has put a reed valve manifold on there engine If you want to buy some second hand, and safe some money for fuelhttp://www.germanscooterforum.de/topic/162532-svens-lammy-teile-viele-sachen-neu-dazu/?hl=%2Brapido Bearbeitet 9. edumegacc Geschrieben 14. April 2014 Autor Teilen Geschrieben 14. April 2014 thank you pferschy.very assertive. You help a lot :) A like piston port because for 22- 25hp they pull from low rpm . with reed valve i see dyno just a little more power (27-30hp) but only runs good over 4500-5000rpm with litle power band. For a 25hp in a MBGM RT 225 with 60mm crank what can i make? best regard Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...
Pferschy Geschrieben 15. April 2014 Teilen Geschrieben 15. April 2014 Thats whats you have seen but Bell says this and Scootercenter or MB says thatUm die 18-24 PS mit 28/30 mm Vergaser und Dev-Tour Auspuff I think that it is possibel to be in this range with 28/30mm carb and Devtour exhaust (in the middle and not top end, without great porting and jetting the carb on the dyno...)to reach 25hp, you want, in my opinion, you should try it with a Fransspeed race pipe, a bigger carb and the right timing for the exhaust(with blow down timing arround 30°).there are a view diagrams with around 30hp with the Franspeed pipe e.g. here or there but both with TS1For myself i wouldn't do 130/190 on a piston portet engine Link zu diesem Kommentar Auf anderen Seiten teilen Mehr Optionen zum Teilen...
