ich weiss nicht, ob das hier für irgendeinen hier interessant ist.... aber hier in den usa verkauft einer eine alte police lambretta... hier alle details:

Hi folks,

I have a 1974 150 Serveta ex NYPD police scooter that I disassembled

to rebuild and then found a Jet 200. I am located in Binghamton, NY

which is about 4 hours northwest of NYC.

The Scooter is almost completely disassembled but the lower end of the

motor is untouched. I didn't futz with the lower end and it looks

like it is in good condition. When I got it, the piston was seized

and I had it removed.

I would like to get $500.

What would be included in the sale and is in good condition:

The Frame - I spent a good sum of money having the rust out TIG

welded. There is a good deal of surface rust and one rougher area. It

will need to be sandblasted. But it seems straight. Also, it is an

early frame so it has the hole for the airbox.

Motor - I haven't screwed with the motor other than unfreezing the top

end and opening and looking at the chain case. You will need a new

piston but for about $70 more than a new 150 piston and rebore, you

could get a Dean speed 190 piston.

Carb - I unstuck the "plunger" that always jams. It will need the

gasket kit.

Muffler - Complete and used.

Headset - Almost complete, you will need one lever and the metal

accelerator tube on the right side. The tube had rust welded itself

on and I had to carefully cut it off.

Legshields - Some surface rust, one rough patch (no holes) at the

special emblem area, but overall in good condition.

Toolbox and Fuel tank - I replaced the Toolbox that the previous owner

butchered.

**** Serveta Air filter **** - In good condition and worth its weight

in diamondoides.

Post mod rear tailight - There is a crack in the lens but is in useful

condition. Take my advice and replace it with and old style tailight.

Horncasting - I paid a bit to have the bolts removed and the cracks

welded and machined. Polish out the aluminum, it will look great.

Front and rear mudguards - The front will need to be sandblasted

Front forks and hub assembly - Complete, but the front brakes are

stuck and it will need disassembly.

Wiring loom - I will include it more as a reference so that you can

make your own. Note, this early serveta has two sets of wires because

the turnsignals were a recent addition.

Rear brake pedals -

Bar Seat - It needs to be sandblasted.

Wheel Rims - These have already been sandblasted. The tires had

disintegrated.

In addition to being sandblasted (Have I said that before?) you will need:

Screws and fittings - With the exception of interior engine

fasteners, every screw, nut and bolt was rusty. Percy at Buffalo scoot

has stainless steel fitting kits.

Piston - as noted before

Rear floorboards and Bridge piece - About $60 total from any lambretta

shop.

Battery support on frame - The previous owner cut this off the frame.

It won't matter if you switch to electronic ignition. Which I would

highly recommend.

Side panels - I can give you the right side panel that the previous

owner butchered but that would be pointless. Besides, everyone want

to choose their own panels. Chelsea sells nice TV fiberglass

reproductions at www.scooterso.com for $60 apiece, $120 a pair.

Rear latch for the seat and side panels- These parts always rust into

oblivion.

Tires, Cables, Rubber fittings - These should be replaced in any

restoration.

Seat cover - Lambretta.net is having a sale on these right now until

December 1.

Headlight and ring - Little boys with sticks and scooters should not

be put together.

Turn signals - There are two remaining in poor condition.

Emblems - The "Special" is broken.

Title - This was a barn bike and it came with a bill of sale.

This is a project. My guess is that this will take somewhere between

$500 - 700 in parts to get running and then you need a paint job.

But, you will have the scooter that you desire.

I will try and post pictures after Tuesday.

I can be reached at this address or at (607) 771-4920.

Lebt eben vom Export, eigentlich schlau.

Ich bin eigentlich immer froh, wenn meine Roller in bekannten Kreisen mit Liebe weitergefahren werden.
