I have realized I am not a tuner …. I don’t like when the scooter goes to fast …. that’s why I am selling this quite unique engine . Devil Inside (http://devilinside.de/) manufactured the parts in 1998. The parts have been sleeping in boxes for many years and I have only put together the engine and done short test runs of less then 20 km in total.

 

Done by devil inside:

•Based on a brand new PX engine casing, the version with electric start, no engine number on the casing.

•Reed inlet on the engine casing

•Malossi cylinder with water cooling

•Cylinder lining in steel

•Custom made water cooled cylinder head.

•Suzuki Piston

•Built for long stroke , 60mm

•Water pump and radiator

•Dellorto PHBE 32

•VDO Temperature sensor in the top

 

Parts in the engine:

•BGM stator plate, 130w 

•HP4 flywheel

•Mazzucchelli Glockenwelle, 60mm

•Cosa Clutch, enforced with a welded ring

•Honda NSR 125 reed, new blades

•After 1992 PX 200 used gearbox, the flat cruciform

•New rear hub , no wheel is included.

•New break shoes

 

I have used an early SIP Performance exhaust however the exhaust is NOT included in this sale.

 

The engine is put together and working as shown in the YouTube video with link below. Final jetting is not done and will be needed.

 

The only known issue is in order to start the engine after it has been standing still some day may be hard, however if holding the hand over the air intake of the carburetor to increase the vacuum the engine will start easy.   Once started up the engine will start on first kick.  My assumption is that it is either to hard reed blades or to low crank housing compression due to the Glockenwelle that causes this behavior causing problem so that enough air/petrol-mix does not reach the cylinder.
