200 clutch with spring place reinf

Hi, I have a 200 clutch with malossi springs and the ring, someone tells me that I have to reinforce also the "spring place"(the seven places where the springs pull)I hope you understand me...but I don't know how.... is really important to reinforce this place? and How can I do this?

I guess you mean the clutch spring cup

I have never seen anyone reenforcing this part of the clutch but I guess you could weld it - depends I guess what kind of engine setup you have - if you are running a high reving engine you are probably better of with a Cosa clutch anyway

oh yes, I mean the spring cup,I couldn't find the right words... sorry for my english ;)

I have an engine with a strong torque, but not so much rev. 177 polini tuned in the exhaust(only enlarged but not rised)and in the boost port, longstroke worb5 special lip(kopfdichtung), 28 pwk keihin, malossi reed manifold with malossi reed pack, 23/65 with short 4th gear, rz righthand and pk or hp flywheel.

What are the advantages of a cosa clutch?

Pulling the Cosa-Clutch is more comfortable than the original PX.
