Those are Pinasco "double carb" alloy barrels from the 80s: One carb sits on the standard inlet port on the engine casing and one with reed-induction on the barrel. Nowadays "hard-to-get"-items. But setting up the two carbs to work correctly must have been a real pain in the ass, also the throttle splitting system used to cause some trouble.

They used to be available from the German "rollershop" a long time ago. I have a catalogue from 1989, they used to cost 729 DM (approx. 373 Euros) for the 180 cc kit (including barrel kit, direct inlet manifold, reed block, Dell´Orto SHBC 20 L carb, air filter, jets, throttle splitter, throttle cables, Pinasco "carbon"-flywheel, primary drive, gasket set, 60 mm stroke crank, crank bearings). The P 200 kit included barrel kit, direct inlet manifold, reed block, Dell´Orto SHBC 20 L carb, air filter, throttle splitter, throttle cables, Pinasco manual in English language for 499 DM (approx. 255 Euros).

My mate used to have a 177TI (twin induction) back in the late 80's,it was great fun but a complete pain in the arse to keep the carb's balanced. (

I'm sure it would be possible to blank off the barrel mounted carb with a plate but I'm not sure if this would cause turbulance.Basically I wouldn't bother.

If you'd prefer to use a single carb set up I would recommend that you place it(presuming you already own it) on UK e-bay as they are very desirable for retro 80's street racers/customs.The Armando's Specials are becoming very popular again over here.
