Sorry to ask again, but I cannot search the forum, I don't know why, I 've an error...

How do you drive a 100/80-10 tyre ? Can you mount a cosa rim on a smallframe ?

Is the "special 100" from SIP a good alternative ?

I tried with the standard rim, it works, but the tyre is a bit too pinched...

Thanks !!

I ride a 100/80-10 Raceman on a Cosa-rim on my Smallframe.

I had to put two washers between rim and brake drum to get it away from the engine case.

Not fine, I know, but the rim is still centered by the brake drum.

Another possibility would be to ride the wide part of a 2.10 rim and the slim one of a Cosa-rim. That would fit without spacing and is at least 2.30 wide.

Greetings, jan

I ride the same tyre on the same rim

Sorry... Are you talking about an original rim or the cosa rim ?

And I have also a straigth spring from SIP/worb5, so there is clearance issue from this point.

What about putting 10 x 1 or 1.5mm washers *between* the two half-rims ?? :plemplem:

I ment the Cosa rim and the Schwalbe Raceman tyre.

I can take a picture of the tyre where you can see the distance between rim and clutch cover.

Why do you want to put washers between the 2 halfs of the rim? For what?

Take the Cosa rim and put 2mm distance between rim and brake drum.

If you want to, you can take washers for that.
